"Don't replace what you have — make it smart." A Smart Retrofit kit that upgrades the existing mechanical lubrication system on your machines with sensors and PLC control — plus turnkey centralized lubrication solutions for new projects.
On heavy equipment such as excavators, loaders, crushers, conveyors and cranes, a significant share of failures originates from insufficient or irregular lubrication. Manual greasing carries risks: skipped points, over- or under-greasing, contamination, and personnel climbing onto machines. A centralized (automatic) lubrication system delivers the right amount of grease to every critical point at the right time while the machine is running — reducing metal-to-metal contact, wear and corrosion, and pushing dirt out of pivots to extend bearing life.
This approach is a proven industry standard: on machines from leading manufacturers such as Caterpillar, Komatsu, Liebherr, Sandvik, Epiroc, John Deere, Kubota and Normet, centralized lubrication is offered as standard equipment or a factory option. What sets omX apart is bringing your existing fleet in the field up to the same smart level — without replacing the pump or distributor blocks.
The Smart Retrofit kit keeps the existing mechanical pump and distributor blocks on your machine, adding an end-of-line pressure sensor, a line flow sensor and a smart control unit. The controller connects to the PLC (the system brain) over CAN / RS485 and to the monitoring infrastructure over Ethernet. Your previously "blind" lubrication system becomes one that knows the state of every line, detects blockages instantly and adjusts dosing to conditions.
Dynamic dosing: Instead of fixed-interval greasing, the system continuously updates the active dose based on load data, operating hours and ambient temperature. Dosing increases under heavy load and high temperature; grease waste is avoided in light duty. The right amount at the right time optimizes both bearing life and grease consumption.
Safe lock: When a blocked line is detected, the system raises an alarm, reports the affected line and puts the machine into protection mode — intervention happens before damage grows.
For new machine and plant projects, we design, build and commission centralized grease systems end to end — in single-line or progressive architecture as required. Pump, distributor and control selection based on point count, line lengths, grease type and operating conditions is on us; you receive a working system.
Our in-house LubeVision interface shows the live status of every lubrication point (healthy / blocked / low pressure / offline) on a machine silhouette. System pressure, pump runtime, total grease consumption and reservoir level are monitored on a single screen; alarm lists and reports make maintenance planning data-driven. Built by our HMI & PLC team, the display, control and communication layers are maintained from a single source.
Industry data shows that fleets switching to automatic lubrication see a marked reduction in unplanned downtime and lubrication-related failures, lower grease consumption thanks to precise metering, and extended component life. Since personnel no longer climb onto machines to grease, occupational safety improves directly.
