The joystick is where the operator meets the machine. Smoothness of motion, response speed and safety logic all start here.
A response curve that feels right on a loader can be too aggressive on a drill rig. During commissioning we tune dead band, gain and ramp values on the machine together with the operator. Settings are stored as parameters, and profiles can be defined for different operators.
A joystick only makes sense alongside the hydraulic valve and control unit. When working with CAN-based mobile hydraulic valves we can build the whole chain, from the lever to the valve, from a single source.
