On heavy equipment, the zones outside the operator’s field of view are where a large share of site accidents begin. A camera system brings those zones onto the operator’s screen.
Whether a camera earns its place depends on where and at what angle it is mounted. We identify the machine’s blind spots on site and set camera count and position accordingly. Where wiring crosses moving areas it is routed with protective conduit and correct fixing — the most common failure in camera systems is not the camera but a crushed cable.
If the machine already has an operator screen, we prefer to integrate the camera view into it rather than add a second display. More screens in the cab means more distraction; the right image at the right moment on one screen is safer.
